Wood Duck
The drake wood duck is one of the most colorful and often photographed North American waterfowls. This is my version in textile art.
"Wood Duck" is an 8.5x11.5 inch fabric painting. Combined with layers of supporting cotton and batting, the fabric painting is embroidered by hand manipulated free motion machine stitching. It is stretched over board and framed.
The original art has double white mats in a custom 10x13 inch rustic mohagany frame with Museum Glass.
